College and Life Mentorship
Our high schoolers experience intentional mentorship from 9th grade to 12th. Our Dean of High School Students meets with freshmen to discuss their four-year plan, while seniors discuss topics such as college entrance exams, scholarships, financial aid, and graduation requirements.
The guidance they receive extends beyond their plans for college. Students are free to approach the Dean to talk about personal issues, and we can assist them in finding other care opportunities as needed.

High school teachers and faculty are professing Christians and mentor students through biblical principles
“Cambridge Dictionary defines academics as “the subjects you study in high school or college,” but the academics at our school encompass so much more. They have equipped us with a Christ-centered education, and in that, wisdom to carry what we have learned into this next chapter. Proverbs 16:16 says “How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!” Wisdom is one of the highest gifts one can receive on this earth. It is applying the knowledge we have learned. It guides our thoughts, words, and actions and leads us to future success. VCA has gifted us with wisdom that sets us apart. The difference between simply learning and obtaining wisdom is that wisdom is enriched in God’s word and truth, altering how we view life. It gives us a purpose, a plan, and the courage to live that out….VCA sends us out, prepared with the wisdom to pursue truth and combat adversity. They have instilled in us values that we will now endeavor to pursue for the rest of our days. Our teachers have excellently educated us with knowledge with a Christian worldview lens, to live a life for the Lord.”
